A Hearty Halloween each year helps raise money for local charity organizations that are children based. Northland Horror asks for any volunteers that want to get dressed up and give out treats to our Trick or Treaters on the day.
A family friendly day, safe trick or treating, and fun to be had by all. We even reward best dressed costumes.

Our Story
A little of who we are and where we have come from.
Northland Horror started in 2019 in Whangarei with a small group of volunteers in a few costumes, joining Heads Up for a Halloween event.
From there, Northland Horror has become an organization of like minded volunteers that want to help make a difference in the community.
Our main event is A Hearty Halloween, which helps raise money for local childrens charities in Northland. We have helped out, Heart Kids, Kind Hands, Children With Disability and in 2024 we helped I Have A Dream. For 2025, we are proud to be helping Glass Ceiling Performing Arts Collective.
We try to bring more like minded people in each year through volunteers and sponsoring to help make a difference in our community for these charities who need the help with funding.
